Tyees in Discovery Passage

Painter's Lodge and April Point Resort salmon fishing continues to be solid well in to September. As we head into the autumn, an assortment of Chinook, Coho and Chum salmon are all crossing the docks and weigh-in station. This week has seen a couple of beauties, including a 34 lb King salmon caught Monday, and a 30.5 lb Tyee battled and won in the Tyee pool on traditional gear.
