Salmon, salmon and more salmon!

Anglers are enjoying fishing the fast flowing tidal waters in the Campbell River area, finding success at hot spots like Green Sea, the Lighthouse and Chatam Point. Several tyees were caught over the weekend from Painter's Lodge and April Point Resort along with plenty of Chinook in the 15-25 lb range and tons of Pink salmon. As summer stretches into fall, the fishing guides expect to see the Chum run hit the passage, rounding out the fishing opportunities in the area. Stay tuned!
