Painter's Lodge, Campbell River; April Point Resor

The "Salmon Capital of the World" is once again teeming with salmon as guest of Painter's Lodge in Campbell River and April Point Resort on Quadra Island continue to reel in Big Springs. Herring and anchovies are the bait of choice for anglers as they hit hotspots like the Lighthouse and Twin Islands. Salmon are averaging 20 pounds with some topping the scales at close to 30 pounds. It's a great start to the season!
