Painter's Lodge - the fish are here!

14-18 lbs. is the average size of fish hitting the docks at Painter's Lodge and April Point Resort with some in the high 20's and low 30's. The weather peaked at almost 30? C over the weekend, providing an excellent excuse for guests to book an extra fishing tide and a wildlife tour. Hot spots still include Shelter Point, the Deep and Hump anywhere from 240-260 feet. Anchovies are bringing in the most fish with hoochies and flashers as lures.
