It was very sunny but quite windy yesterday in the Discovery Passage; needless to say the boats still went out fishing and had a great day.
Chinooks are still coming in large and in charge. The hatchery cohos are trickling in here and there and of course the odd pink. The guides are mostly fishing with their selective hoochies. The fishing boats are still heading south as well as venturing north, some times all the way up to Chatham Point to try and find some big suckers.
This week we had the Vestergaard group return to Painter’s Lodge. They had a great time out on the water. Here are a few shots I took yesterday.
