Tyee Fishing is up and running in the Discovery Passage. Over the past several weeks, there has been plenty of action with lots of Chinook in the mid to high twenties. But it was August 6th that saw the first official Rowed Tyee of the 2002 Season and brought home to Painter's Lodge. Congratulations to the man on the rod, Bruce Kirby and guide Steve Webber for this 31.5 lber - the first registered Tyee this season in the Campbell River Tyee Club.
