Another absolutely fish filled day on the docks. I had some very close friends visiting all the way from Quebec this week. Jay and Ashley caught a pink and a sockeye on this year’s annual Campbell River trip. They had so much fun with their guide Ryan they are going back out tomorrow for more. YAY!
Paul, Tom, Andy and Bob. What a great group of friendly guys. Paul caught the largest fish of the day yesterday. He rowed a 22 lb. Chinook out of the Tyee pool. No Tyee but it won him a free night stay at Painter’s Lodge or April Point.
The fishermen and women had an Orca and Dolphin show while out on the water this afternoon, someone even spotted a swimming Eagle.
Only 6 more days of derby here’s an update on our leaders are….
Jan Debruyn – 39.5 lb.
Steve Cyr – 31.6 lb.
Ron Uloth – 31.1 lb.
