Coho retention on Vancouver Island!

Great News for Vancouver Island! As of August 1, 2002, anglers who fish from Painter's Lodge, April Point Resort and Canadian Princess Resort can catch and keep 2 hatchery Coho a day, 4 in possession. A hatchery Coho can be identified by a missing adipose fin with a healed scar where the fin used to be. If you have any problems identifying the fish, just ask your guide or deck hand, they'll be happy to help.
