Chum are here!

Chum are running in the Campbell River area with strong numbers making their way into daily fishing reports. Springs are averaging in the 15-20 lb range, but there are still a number of tyees in the local waters. Pink fishing has been phenomenal recently and the hatchery Coho remain strong. Pinks and Coho range in size anywhere from 5-15 lbs. Deepwater, Plumpers, Separation head and the Lighthouse continue to draw the most anglers fishing anywhere from 10-30 meters. Flasher-hoochie combos, plugs, spoons and green and pink hoochies are the most common lures and have been successful for most anglers.
