Well someone was looking out for us today up here at beautiful Painter’s Lodge. Warm sun and calm winds made for an excellent day out on the water. The wildlife tour left the dock at 9 and headed north through Seymour Narrows . They managed to see Stellar sea-lions, seals, eagles and cormorants and everyone came back with big smiles.
The guide of the day today had to be Grant Hanna. He took out Kerri-Lynne Raven and Amber Makazawa to Deepwater Bay in the morning, and Amber landed the biggest fish of the season, a 24 ½ lb Chinook! Congratulations Amber.
If that somehow wasn’t enough, they went south in the afternoon and Keri-Lynne caught a 14 and an 11 lb Chinook off the Lighthouse.
The best fishing day of the year belongs to you guys, way to go!
