There was no contest for catch of the day - this was a trophy fish that can't be missed.
Today, while fishing the Goal Post, Mr Tom Sawyer set his line and came up - surely using considerable skill and effort - a fourty-three pound Tyee salmon. Very nice work, Tom.
Fishing continues to impress. Sockeye have been consistent and Pinks have been promising. We've had a few nice Chinook recently, incluing Norman Cargill's 26 pounder and Alex Cronkite's 23 pounder - not too bad at all! With only a few weeks to go, bait those hooks and get on those adventure tours - summer's still here!
