Fishing continues to be very productive for Chinook, Coho and, of course, Pinks.
Chinook are coming-in in fair sizes, with one definite exception: yesterday morning, Virginia Whitehead battled and won a 35 lb. Tyee salmon from Plumper Bay. Very nice work!
Hatchery Coho are amazing right now, with the top catch a beautiful 13 pounder caught by Kathy Klaus at Brown’s Bay.
Today is the last day of traditional Tyee rowing. This year has been great for Tyees, and the evening tide is full to the gills.
‘til next time... tight lines,
