Spring Fling Salmon Derby
April 23 to June 18, 2010
With the spring thaw comes a big salmon run right between Painter’s Lodge and April Point Resort & Spa.
Spring salmon fishing in Campbell River can really heat up and to get anglers excited we’ve created the Spring Fling salmon derby.
From April 23 to June 18, every Chinook (Spring) salmon you catch at Painter’s Lodge is automatically entered into the derby. The angler with the biggest Chinook each day will win a prize. At the end of the derby we’ll tally up all the catches and award some huge prizes, including at trip for two to the Queen Charlotte Islands.
