A Message from Robert H. Wright
My dream of creating an environment where people can be immersed in beautiful art and interact with talented artists is confirmed by the marvelous interest and turnout for Painters at Painter’s.
Although we are saddened by the passing of Glenn Howarth, one of our beloved artists, we continue to feel privileged that he was able to share his talents with us. We are honoured to be entering our 16th year with 33 artists in residence who have created and will be displaying over 90 pieces of original art.
We are also pleased to announce that the rooms in the Main Lodge of Painter’s have been dedicated to members of the Painter’s at Painters family in perpetuity. We are honoured and remind the public of the great artists who are showcased in our lodge.
Every year, we invite one new artist to join the group of masters. We hope to announce our newest artist three weeks prior to the event. Last year Artists in Residence voted and chose Mickie Acierno to become a lifetime member of the Painters at Painter’s.
This special weekend is for artists, art lovers and friends to enjoy. Brush with the masters, attend the various workshops, make new friends, and become inspired. But most of all, enjoy all that represents British Columbia’s best.
