The Tyee Pub at Painter's Lodge

Painter's Lodge - July 27, 2013

Do have a hankering for a good burger? Maybe you’re in the mood for some fish n’ chips? Or perhaps you’re just looking for an ice cold beer. If your answer was “yes” to any of the above statements then the Tyee Pub at Painter’s Lodge is the place for you!

A popular hangout for both locals and hotel guests alike, the Tyee Pub is home to nine different burgers, new lunch and dinner specials every day and many a fish story. Sure, the fish stories get a little more dramatic as the night goes on, but that’s all part of the fun. The pub is also frequented by our guides who are more than happy to share their own stories and give you a few pointers for your next fishing excursion.

The Tyee Pub is the perfect spot for a leisurely lunch. When the sun is out there’s no better place to be than on our Pub deck as you enjoy a cold beverage and gaze out at the ocean. It’s also a great place for a night out, with live bands every other week and an atmosphere that can’t be beat.

So what should you order when you visit the Tyee Pub? This year's menu features tons of great options. They're all great choices, but here's what I would order: Start with the calamari. For your main course, you can’t go wrong with the Chicken Burger, which features a grilled chicken breast topped with prosciutto ham, provolone cheese and chipotle mayo. Finally, to wash it down, order a sleeve of Okanagan Springs Pale Ale.

So, next time you find yourself in Campbell River with an empty stomach, head on over to the Tyee Pub at Painter’s Lodge. You won’t be disappointed!

Catch you later,

Travis
