Painter's Lodge - July 11, 2004

A little bit of reconaissance by one of our guides at Painter's Lodge predicts an influx of fish in the next few days around Campbell River. Two large groups of salmon will converge on the area - with one group heading north up Discovery Passage and the other heading south from the North Pacific. Perhaps as a bit of a teaser of things to come, yesterday saw a beautiful 32 lb Tyee weighed in at the Painter's Lodge scales.
