17 years ago Bob Wright and the late Len Gibbs decided to put this event together so they could share their love of art with the art community. It has since grown from a small intimate showing of art to what it is today. This weekend we had 33 artists and over a hundred pieces of art spread between to 2 beautifully displayed art galleries. Discussions, demonstrations and personal stories were a highlight of the weekend. Hundreds of people come to be a part of this celebration of art every year, some purchase pieces for their own collections and some just come to admire.
Guests arrived on a gloomy Friday evening but woke up to a sunny Saturday with transient orcas swimming past. Perfect!
I have to thank all the crew who helped put the biggest event of the season together seamlessly.
See you all next year.
