Hot fishing at Langara Island!

Painter's Lodge - July 24, 2002

The MV Charlotte Princess and the MV Marabell continue to experience amazing fishing at Langara Island around the Lighthouse and Andrew's Point. The MV Marabell's Captain reports calm seas and hot fishing with anglers limiting out on both Chinook & Coho. Guests are consistently reeling in Chinook anywhere from the mid 20's to the 40 lb. range with a few being caught in the 50's and Coho between 8-14 lbs.

The MV Marabell will be heading to Hakai Pass next week to tag into the hot fishing in the Central Coast of British Columbia. All indications report it will be another great season there and we'll be sure to keep you posted on all the hot fishing action - especially with those feisty Coho's.
