Holy moly it’s hot here! The sun is shining brightly, the fish are biting and wildlife is out!
Here’s the report on the wildlife: there were three transient whales up at Browns Bay a couple days ago and they put on quite the feeding show. There are so many black bears out we lost count long ago. There’s even been a few cinnamon ones spotted, too. The Dahls porpoises (dolphins) are as playful as ever, and there were some harbor porpoises mixed in the group of Dahls.
As for fishing, well, it’s been incredible! Eric Barbour brought in a nice halibut, the 6th one we’ve seen this year. Jack Walker has the biggest salmon of the week (so far) with a 24 pound Chinook. Good job John!
We’re all enjoying the beautiful sun shine here. Come up and enjoy it with us. That’s all for today. Thanks for checkin’ in. Hope you have a wonderful day.
