Discovery Passage Update

Painter's Lodge and April Point Resort & Spa - September 28, 2005

Chum are still topping the charts on each tide in large numbers. Ken Wall got a beauty 17 pounder up at Brown’s Bay, and David Chaulk landed himself 13 lbs. of Chum, plus dozens of others...

Pink salmon have eased up a bit, which is nice because we can finally get lines in the water without just catching Pinks. Sockeye have slowed down as well, but are still showing up.

As for Chinook, Tom Strickland reeled in a reeeeeel nice 27 lb. Chinook on September 24th, battling this bad boy at Green Sea.

The boys from the Northern Resorts are arriving today for their winter refit at the April Point Marina. They’re excited to get a taste of our waters, let’s see what these fish-masters catch!

Well folks, it’s been a riot, but today is my final fishing report. As of tomorrow, Adrienne will be taking over until the end of the season. It’s been an awesome season, as you’ve read.

Keep those lines tight and those hooks sharp...
